National Guard Makes Clerical Error

A clerical error prevents some members of the Minnesota Army National Guard in Iraq from getting paid. This month, 140 members of the "34th Combat Aviation Brigade" will get pay stubs that show they owe the U.S. Army more than 8 thousand dollars. The error is due to a botched attempt to collect back pay from a soldier who didn't deploy. The National Guard says families will be able to get short-term loans to get through any hassles this creates.
